of the Complaints Commission

of the Press Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina

regarding the complaint of Mr. Andrej Merkadic, to the article „Natašu startovao crnac“ published on 16.04.2012


COMPLAINT NOT UPHELD

No Breach of the Press Code of BiH

The Complaints Commission of the Press Council in BiH considered the complaint of Mr. Andrej Merkadic, regarding the article „Natašu startovao crnac“, published on 16.04.2012 on the portal Ekskluziva.ba

The Adjudication of the Complaints Commission is that there was no bad or discriminatory intent in the article. The Press Code was not breached.

The Complaints Commission of the Press Council in BiH did not uphold the complaint of Mr. Andrej Merkadic, regarding the article „Natašu startovao crnac“ published on 16.04.2012 on the portal Ekskluziva.ba.

The Commission has carefully analyzed the complaint and the article.

With respect for the critical stance of Mr. Merkadic towards the article and the reaction which he sent, the Commission concludes that the Press Code of BiH was not breached. The article is written in a style of the profile of the portal Ekskluziva.ba, without any bad or discriminatory intentions.
